Tau History & Studio
From Flame Research to Craft
Tau Joyas is Rosario's glassmaking practice, working from a personal studio in the Poble-sec neighborhood of Barcelona. Every piece is hand-formed from glass at a torch — flameworking, a practice she continues to deepen through individual master classes in studios as far away as Berlin. The technique demands the highest concentration: when glass heats, it becomes plastic, but only for seconds.

Collections and Analog Aesthetics
Her work moves through named collections — "Mar de Promesas" (Sea of Promises), "Bosque EncanTau" (Enchanted Forest), "Glass Smoke," "Pieza de baile" (Dance Piece) — and is shot mostly with analog film by photographer Irene Villarroya, in collaboration with stylists, dancers, and tattoo artists who pull the pieces into larger scenes. Objects are sold through @muysentia and shown at @ssuave3000.

Exhibition Recognition
In March 2026 her work appears at Galeria Marzia (Flor del Lliri 4) in a group exhibition "After Eve — Where Bodies Remain Raw" alongside fellow jewelry artist @sifjasmin. The studio is small and visited by appointment only through DM. As she says on her account: "Pasate a conocer mi mundito de cristal" (Come visit my little glass world).

Handmade
Every ring and pendant is hand-formed at a torch (flameworking) at high temperature. No two pieces are identical.
Sustainable Materials
Borosilicate glass, fine glass rods for torch work, sterling silver. The process produces no waste.
Fair Trade Minded
Glass is collected from nature, preventing it from landfills. Each piece has a story of where its material came from.
